“An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is only an adventure wrongly considered.”
-GK Chesterton
Therapy is more than just navigating disorders to help with anxiety or depression but is also an opportunity to develop the fruit of the spirit and draw nearer to God in both heart and mind. In Brennen’s view, therapy is a journey he is privileged to participate in with the clients he sees.
Brennen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who earned his Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University. He received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Wichita State University.
Brennen views therapy as a way of helping others restore joy in their lives. He has a passion for helping individuals with anxiety, depression, and anger. He is also excited to work with couples to build strong marriages and relationships. While Brennen has worked with people with many different backgrounds and mental health struggles, he has also developed experience in working with people with autism and dissociative experiences.
Brennen is trained in Sand Tray Therapy, Prepare/Enrich (a marital or pre-marital program to build strong marriages), Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Brennen enjoys time with his wife and family and enjoys reading, jogging, playing guitar, going to local concerts and playing catch with his crazy goldendoodle.
