Katy is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology from Wichita State University.

Katy is passionate about working alongside individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, self-identity, marital concerns, family relationship dynamics, parenting, and grief. She desires to meet you and those you love wherever you are on your journey towards growth and healing and to walk with you by offering meaningful perspective to life’s difficulties and help foster hope for positive change.
She will collaborate with you to develop a plan that will best address your concerns through developing new skills and perspective as well as capitalizing on the unique strengths you already possess in order to achieve health and wholeness in all areas of life.
Katy is a trained and certified to facilitate SYMBIS, a pre-marital and marital assessment and counseling tool as well as Couple’s Communication, a program designed to help couples in all stages improve their communication.

In addition to her work as a therapist, Katy is active in her church community, serves as a board member for Embrace, and enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters.Working alongside Katy in the therapy room is her Goldendoodle, Berkeley, a Professional Therapy Dog in Training.
