It takes both steadfastness and vulnerability to seek healing, neither of which are for the faint of heart. I believe we are all built for a life of wholeness, authenticity, and courage.
I use a compassionate approach to encourage curiosity towards emotions and behaviors. I have specialized training with disordered eating and use an intuitive eating and weight neutral approach. I am also trained in EMDR–which is effective in trauma resolution–and have specialized training with first responders including EMS, fire, police, and dispatch. As a former police/fire/EMS/911 dispatcher myself, I understand the unique culture and challenges of working as a first responder.
In her free time, Michele enjoys walking or hiking in nature, reading mystery novels, and playing board games with her friends and family.
