Paul Williams,
LPC

Paul is a licensed professional counselor who earned his master’s degree in clinical counseling from Wichita State University. Paul is a life-long learner who also holds four other college degrees. He earned an MBA from Friends University and from Wichita State he earned three bachelor’s degrees including a BA in Psychology, a BS in Electrical Engineering, and a BGS in Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Paul has been a helper of people much of his adult life. For 10 years he worked with incarcerated youth as a volunteer at the Sedgwick County Juvenile Facility. Twice per week Paul and friends engaged the youth in such things as basketball, games, group discussions, and on Sunday morning a church service for those youth who wished to attend. And on Christmas morning, Paul’s group cooked a hearty breakfast for and presented gifts to the youth.

Also, for 10 years, Paul mentored at-risk boys through Youth Horizons, a 30-year non-profit in Wichita. Paul is also a founder and an active member of River Community Church where for several years he was the young adult group leader.

Having overcome numerous hardships in life, Paul can relate to suffering people. He has a heart to help people who are dealing with such things as depression, anxiety, purpose, or painful loss.
​
Paul enjoys pickleball, swimming, and spending time with family and friends, which includes his 14-year companion Layla, a Cockamo (Cocker Spaniel/American Eskimo mix).
