Penny Taylor,
LMLP

I am a Licensed Master’s Level Psychologist (LMLP) and a Professionally Certified Educational Therapist, with a degree from Emporia State University. For more than a decade, I have been dedicated to helping individuals—especially children, adolescents, and students—overcome cognitive, emotional, and academic challenges so they can thrive and reach their full potential.
My passion is helping people discover their strengths, build resilience, and confidently navigate life’s challenges. By integrating my training in psychology with my background in education, I provide comprehensive, individualized support that fosters both personal growth and academic success.
My approach is grounded in empathy, insight, honesty, and integrity. I believe meaningful change begins with understanding, and I am committed to empowering clients with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to achieve their goals while finding joy and purpose along the way.
I especially enjoy the assessment process because it provides clients with valuable insight into their unique strengths, challenges, and areas for growth. Through psychological testing and evaluation, we can gain a clearer understanding of patterns that may be contributing to difficulties and use that information to develop a focused, individualized plan for meaningful change. My goal is to help clients align their growth with their values, passions, and goals. If you or your child is struggling, I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how psychological testing and evaluation may be beneficial. Together, we can use the information gained through the assessment process to create a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy serving my community through my church, Safe Families, and other faith-based organizations. My years living in Ukraine and Italy have given me a broader multicultural perspective and deepened my appreciation for resilience, empathy, and meaningful human connection. These experiences continue to shape both my personal life and my approach to working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
I am a proud wife, the mother of two adult children, and own two spoiled dogs. In my free time, I enjoy baking from scratch, experimenting in the kitchen, spending quality time with friends & family, and savoring a truly great cup of coffee.
