Robert is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a master’s degree from Friends University, as well as a master’s degree in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He provides counseling to individuals, couples, and families through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy with a gospel-centered focus. He also provides pre-marital counseling based on biblical principles. He has over 30 years of experience in therapy, pastoral ministry, and administration. His therapeutic approach focuses on the whole person: body, soul, and spirit.
Robert also has many years of executive management experience. In combination with his therapy skills, Robert offers Professional Life Coaching for clients who want to increase their professional business growth. Areas of professional growth include: emotional intelligence, effective leadership skills, building a high performing team, personality assessments, developing resilience, maintaining a growth mindset, increasing creativity, building an organization, and executive presence.
In addition to therapy, Robert speaks on a variety of behavioral health and spiritual issues at retreats, workshops, and seminars. He combines his faith, life experience, and the gospel to assist in bringing truth and encouragement to people. He and his wife have 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren.
