TJ Ferri,
Student Intern

My name is Timothy (TJ) Ferri, and I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. I attended Sterling College, where I earned my degree in Mathematics Education and met my wife. We married in 2022 and welcomed our daughter in 2023. After spending some time living in Texas, my wife and I returned to Kansas to raise our daughter, and we are now proud to call Wichita, Kansas, home.
Family is one of the most important parts of my life. I especially enjoy spending time with my family through activities such as taking walks, playing games, and making memories together. In my free time, I also enjoy swimming, spending time with friends and family, and participating in a variety of games and activities.
I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My desire to enter the field of therapy has been shaped by experiences within my own family as well as by my time working with middle and high school students. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the importance of healthy relationships, strong family connections, and supportive environments for individuals and families.
As I continue my education and clinical training, I hope to help individuals, couples, and families navigate challenges, strengthen their relationships, and experience meaningful growth and healing. My Christian faith is an important part of my life and informs my desire to serve others. I believe God can bring healing and restoration to individuals, relationships, marriages, and families, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve others and be a vessel through which He can work.
